Arrival by Air
Virgin Blue, Macair and Qantas fly to Townsville. The airport of 5km from the town centre.

Arrival by train
Trains run north to Cairns , south to Brisbane , and also west to Mt. Isa.

Arrival by bus
Bus services operate both north to Cairns and south to Brisbane and to Mt. Isa. and Tennant Creek in the Northern Territory . There is also the Winton Express bus to Winton on Sundays and Wednesdays. The bus terminal is in South Townsville seven or eight minutes walk from the city centre.

Arrival by car
Townsville is easily accessible via the main coastal highway.
